Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) Constable (GD) Recruitment 2009

Job Description : Applications are invited from male Indian citizens fulfilling the eligibility criteria for recruitment to the post of Constable General Duty (GD) (Male) in SSB. The last date of receipt of application form is 26/10/2009.

Constable (GD) Male : 3029 posts in various states

Pay Scale : Rs. 5200- 20200 Grade Pay Rs.5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2000/-

Age Limit : 18-23 years, relaxation as per rule

Education : Matriculation or 10th pass from a recognized board/university.

Fee : Application fee will be Rs.50/- for candidates belonging to General and OBC categories in the form of Crossed Bank Draft or Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Authirity as defined in the detailed advertisement.

Apply : Eligible and desirous candidates should send their applications in the prescribed proforma with attested passport size photographs duly affixed on the application form and admit card and duly completed in all respect to various Designated Officers of SSB in various states. The envelope containing the application should be super- scribed in block letters as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CONSTABLE (GD), alongwith application fee, attested copies of testimonials and admit card duly filled in. Two self-addressed envelops with postage stamps worth Rs.6/- (Six) each should also be attached with the application form.
